Trivia[]
- Superman '78 and The Metal Curtain ignore the events of Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, and Superman Returns, instead the comics follow the theatrical cut of the second movie. This continuity reimagines the sequels as though Richard Donner and Gene Hackman had continued.
- Unlike the films, it seems that this version of Lex Luthor has embraced being bald. Gene Hackman refused to go bald during the making of the films, opting to wear a bald cap and have his hair stylized a certain way instead.[1]
