- In DC Comics, Amon Tomaz is the brother of Adrianna Tomaz, Black Adam eventually granted him a portion of his power, becoming him the hero Osiris whenever he said Black Adam's name, joining the Black Marvel Family.
- Bodhi Sabongui, who plays Amon Tomaz in the film, had previously starred in the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode "Necromancing the Stone" as Behrad Tarazi, an alternate version of Amon Tomaz.
