Arkham Asylum, also known as Arkham State Hospital, is an asylum located in Gotham City. It is where Batman's enemies go after they have been defeated.

At some point, the criminal known as the Joker was sent there.
After he had been defeated, the Riddler was also sent there, while he was there, he made a friendship with the Joker.
Batman also interrogated both criminals in the asylum's visitor center.
