Bruce Wayne is a billionaire from Gotham City who became Batman after his parents were murdered in front of him as a kid. After years of fighting crime in Gotham as Batman, he eventually retired when it became one of the "safest cities". During his retirement, Wayne was approached by Barry Allen and his in-universe counterpart, who asked for help in their quest to stop General Zod, to which he agreed, helping Allen regain his powers and joining them.

- Batsuit: Bruce wears a protective suit/armor as his alter-ego, Batman; to hide his identity from his enemies when he goes out fighting crime.
- Utility Belt: Batman uses his utility belt for storing his various gadgets.

Behind the scenes[]
- In the original ending to The Flash, Bruce Wayne/Batman was supposed to be brought back unchanged. This was later reshot with George Clooney, who also previously played the character in Batman & Robin.
- In the new timeline, Michael Keaton initially reprised the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batgirl, but the film's release was cancelled. Keaton also shot a scene as Bruce Wayne for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, but it was later cut out.
