- Peak Physical Condition: As a result of his extremely rigorous training, Peacemaker is at the upper end of natural human abilities. He is strong enough to knock down and throw Rick Flag around several feet and into two grain hoppers and has survived getting shot in the throat by Bloodsport and being crushed under the rubble after the collapse of Jotunheim.
- Indomitable Will
- Master Hand-To-Hand Combatant: Peacemaker excels in advanced hand to hand combat, as he was trained by his father since his childhood. One example of Peacemaker's abilities is the dim mak (translates to Death toutch), a technique reputed to kill using seemingly less than lethal force targeted at specific areas of the body.
- Marksmanship/Weaponry: Due to his training, Peacemaker became an highly skilled sniper. He has also displayed great proficiency with handguns and many weapons, including tomahawks, axe, knives, swords, and even bow and arrows.
- Intimidation/Interrogation: As Peacemaker, Chris commands a very intimidating presence due to his large appearance and his belief in keeping the peace at any cost, which strikes fear into Cleo Cazo/Ratcatcher 2.

Behind the scenes[]
- James Gunn told John Cena not to read any Peacemaker comics before filming, and Cena originally approached the role with an "angular, drill sergeant, Full Metal Jacket-esque personality" before Gunn told him to act like a "douchey, bro-y Captain America".
- Gunn added that the character was straight out of a 1970s television series like Wonder Woman.
