Dru-Zod was a Kryptonian who caused the destruction of Krypton and the father of Lor-Zod.
Biography[]
Justice League: Gods and Monsters[]
General Zod reaches Jor-El's lab, where Jor-El and his wife, Lara, are planning to launch their child away from the planet. Before Jor-El is able to implant his own DNA onto the child, Zod shoots him, interrupting the sequence. Realizing that their planet is doomed, Zod decides that the child must be his to venture forward, and rather implants his own DNA onto the egg. The pod receded into a space ship and was launched just before the planet imploded, leaving Lara and the rest to die on their ill fated planet.
