Femur was a bank robber who was stopped by Batman.
Biography[]
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1[]
Femur was hired by Harvey Dent to rob a bank. As they fled the bank they were pursued by the police and by Batman. Batman then used force to incapacitate the robbers one by one until it was only Femur left. A police rookie tried to intervene but Femur shot at him. Batman saved the rookie and then dived at Femur, brutally injuring him before leaving him for the police.
He hired a lawyer and went to Commissioner James Gordon, claiming that brute force was used and he should be released. Gordon agreed and told Stan Merkel to sign the release form panicking Femur who believed he should have protection.
Femur went straight to Two-Face's hideout but found it had been cleared out, there he was confronted by Batman who threw him through a window. Bleeding to death, Batman told him he was the only person who could get him to hospital on time so he better start talking. Femur told Batman everything he knew.
