Superman is the last son of Krypton, born Kal-El, and sent to Earth by his biological parents when they realized that his planet was doomed. He was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent and given the name Clark Kent. He gained incredible power from Earth's yellow sun and became the superhero Superman and a founding member of the Justice League.

Biography

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

The Justice League gathered at the Flash Museum after an alert about a breaking and entering was flagged. The perpetrators, the Rogues, were planted with futuristic bombs by Professor Zoom and left to die, all to kill the Flash. Superman took custody of Heat Wave and closed his hands around the explosive so that the explosion was contained. He then took Professor Zoom into custody.
