Harold "Hal" Jordan was a test pilot for Ferris Aircraft who was chosen by the Green Lantern Power Ring to join the Green Lantern Corps and take over the mantle of Green Lantern of sector 2814 after Abin Sur died.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox[]
The Justice League gathered at the Flash Museum after an alert about a breaking and entering was flagged. The perpetrators, the Rogues, were planted with futuristic bombs by Professor Zoom and left to die, all to kill the Flash. Green Lantern levitated Batman and Mirror Master into space where Batman disconnected the explosive from the belt.
