J'onn J'onzz is the last of the Green Martians. After arriving on Earth, J'onn adopted the alias of John Jones and became the superhero known as Martian Manhunter. Martian Manhunter became a member of the Justice League at some point during the Trigon and Destiny incidents.

Martian Manhunter attended the League meeting at the Hall of Justice to go over the global outbreak of nightmare crimes caused by Destiny and the Dreamstone.

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War[]
Martian is shown to be attending Superman's meeting to create a plan to go to Apokolips and destroy Darkseid once and for all. He and the rest of the Justice League arrive on Apokolips by plane, but are ambushed by Darkseid's Paradooms. The Justice League crash lands onto Apokolips and try to fight off the horde. Martian, however, gets severely burned and screams in agony, while the rest of the Justice League gets taken down by the Paradooms.
2 years later, Superman, who was crippled by liquid kryptonite, Raven, Damian, and the remaining members of the Justice League Dark, who are Constantine and Etrigan, attempt to break into Darkseid's lair with Constantine's stealth magic, but are then attacked by Martian Manhunter, Mera, Starfire, Hawkman and Wonder Woman, who have all been converted into cybernetic furies. Martian's body, was replaced by cybernetic legs, leaving only one of his arms to still be natural. Martian uses his natural arm to attack Damian, but it gets cut off.
Martian then reforms his arm and keeps attacking, until Wonder Woman, who has regained her senses by Constantine's magic, attacks him, Mera, Hawkman and Starfire. They wound Diana, but they gain their senses back after Cyborg is freed from Darkseid's control. They help Diana and regroup with the rest of the heroes and go through a portal made by Cyborg that leads back to Earth. On Earth, the heroes rest outside of the Titan's tower with Martian and Hawkman sitting next to each other. They watch as Flash creates a new timeline for them, restarting history.
