James "Jimmy" Olsen was a photographer for The Daily Planet.
Biography[]
Superman: Unbound[]
Jimmy Olsen and Ron Troupe rushed passed Clark Kent and Lois Lane, telling them that a mysterious object had come crashing down from space and was about to land in Arizona. He watched the report on television along with the rest of The Daily Planet staff.
Jimmy zoomed in on the photos of Superman and the robot in Phoenix for Perry who wanted the scoop. Supergirl arrived at the window, stared in but left when she saw Clark wasn't there.
After Superman left the planet, Jimmy followed Lois Lane to the roof and she used his Superman Signal Watch to summon Supergirl to the building. He smiled when he saw Supergirl and left when Lois told him to.
When Brainiac robots began to attack Metropolis, Jimmy and Ron pushed a desk into a group of them that were trying to attack Lois and Steve Lombard, pushing them through the window. They fled to another room and blocked the door, watching in horror as Brainiac's Skull Ship passed the windows.
He was shrunk along with the rest of Metropolis and stored on Brainiac's ship until Superman restored it to its rightful place. Jimmy watched as Clark proposed to Lois.
