Jor-El is the biological father of Superman. He foresaw Krypton's destruction and sent his son, Kal-El, to Earth to save him.
Biography[]
All-Star Superman[]
Jor-El died on Krypton when it was destroyed. Superman kept a statue of Jor-El and Lara in his Fortress of Solitude.
Superman told Bar-El and Lilo that he was the son of Jor-El so they could be related but Lilo called Jor-El a weak man. In the Fortress of Solitude, Bar-El and Lilo had knocked down the statue of Jor-El and Lara and replaced it with one of themselves.
