Katar Hol is an alien hero from the planet Thanagar that had incredible durability and hawk-like wings. Hawkman became a member of the Justice League at some point during the Trigon and Destiny incidents.
Biography[]
Justice League Dark[]
Hawkman was watching the new in the Hall of Justice, seeing the chaos caused by the hypnotized denizens.
The Death of Superman[]
Hawkman attended the League's meeting and listened on to Flash's marriage announcement before walking off to celebrate the occasion. Hawkman was the first Leaguer to engage Doomsday in combat, saving a young girl's life in the process, but was soon ambushed and defeated by the monstrosity. Hawkman later mourned the loss of Superman with the other Justice League members at Superman's funeral.
Reign of the Supermen[]
Hawkman helped to escort the President and fought off the parademons, before he and the rest of the League were enveloped by the boom tube portal. Hawkman and the others were saved and were reluctant in letting Lex Luthor join the Justice League.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War[]
Hawkman was among those present for Superman's plan to ambush Darkseid on Apokolips (unaware that the tyrant was listening in on the conversation). They travel to Apokolips but are ambushed by Darkseid's Paradooms, a combination of Doomsday and Parademons, and they crash land onto Apokolips. Hawkman tries to fight off several Paradooms but they rip out Hawkman's wings. He was among the several surviving heroes who were converted into cybernetic Furies. His whole body was replaced by technology, leaving only his original helmet. Two years after Darkseid's successful invasion on Earth, the remaining heroes try to sneak into Darkseid's lair to destroy him, but they are instead greeted by Hawkman, Mera, Starfire, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman, who were all now cybernetic Furies under Darkseid's command. After Etrigan is killed by Wonder Woman, she gains back her senses from Constantine using Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth, who then holds off Hawkman and the other Fury heroes so that they won't have to worry about the Furies. When Superman gains back his powers and fights Darkseid, Cyborg, who was kidnapped and restored his consciousness, disconnects Hawkman and the other Furies from Darkseid and gives them back their senses. They then escape through Cyborg's portal back to Earth before he opens up a black hole, sucking all of Apokolips in. Back on Earth, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter sit and rest on a stone together and watch as The Flash restarts the timeline, creating a new history for them.
