Murray Franklin is the secondary antagonist of the 2019 film Joker.
He was the host of the "Murray Show" based in Gotham City.

Idolizing him since his youth, Arthur Fleck would look up to Murray taking inspiration in becoming a comedian. After a barrage of insults towards a stand-up comedy of Arthur Fleck, the Joker was invited onto the set of the show. During the show, in a mental breakdown, Arthur shot Murray in the head, killing him instantly.
