Orin, also known as Emperor Aquaman, was the leader of the underwater city of Atlantis.
Biography[]
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox[]
Orin led the Atlanteans to Themyscira where they formed an alliance. Orin and Diana began an affair. When Mera learnt of the affair she confronted Diana, attacking the Amazon queen and losing with her life. Orin received the severed head of his wife and was forced to declare war on Themyscira and the Amazons.
Emperor Aquaman personally killed Lex Luthor after the Atlanteans killed everyone else aboard the Ravager. He lead his army to New Themyscira, unfazed by the governments attempt to fly Abin Sur's ship into them. He had a sea monster eat the ship and proceeded towards New Themyscira. Despite the Resistance's efforts, war still broke out and Arthur and Diana aggressively fought. Batman, Cyborg and the Flash split them up. Cyborg and Aquaman then fought until Cyborg ultimately lost. Before Aquaman could kill Cyborg fully, Superman cut off his arm with heat vision. Aquaman looked around at his dead colleagues, distracted enough for Wonder Woman to impale him from behind, giving him a chance to surrender before killing him. As he was being killed he activated his weapon.
