Parasite was a prisoner in Stryker's Island Penitentiary who gained power by absorbing life-force energy from other living beings.
Biography[]
All-Star Superman[]
Whilst Clark Kent interviewed Lex Luthor in Stryker's Island Penitentiary, they passed Parasite's cell. Parasite could sense the overwhelming energy coming from Clark and the ambient energy gave him enough strength to break free from his containment. He went on a rampage absorbing the energy of numerous guards and inmates before finally being stopped by Clark who simulates an earthquake, making Parasite fall into the pit and get trapped by the rubble. Lex then knocked him unconscious, outraged that he dare try to attack him.

Powers[]
- Life-Force Energy Absorption: Parasite can fatally drain the life-force energy of those he touches. Parasite can indirectly absorb energy at a distance from who naturally emit extreme levels of energy, like Superman. Some physical impacts, including from bullets, are incapable of doing damage to Parasite as he can negate the damage by absorbing the kinetic energy, although, Parasite can still be knocked out with enough force even as he mutates.
- Energy Detection: Parasite can sense energy, which made him pursue Superman despite still being in his Clark Kent persona.
