Rama Kushna is a goddess who took pity on the murdered trapeze artist Boston Brand. She called his spirit to her and gave him the power to possess the living so that he could bring his killer and others to justice
Biography[]
Justice League Dark[]
About five years later, Rama summoned Brand, going by his stage name Deadman, and warned him that a growing epidemic of nightmare visions was spreading not only across the world but breaking down the walls between planes. She claimed that even the afterlife would be affected. She instructed him to gather Zatanna, Constantine, Batman, and the rest of the Justice League then have them work together to combat the madness.
