Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2[]
Ronald Reagan declined to comment on Batman's return but stated that he would deal with the problem when it was appropriate to. He then asked Superman to try and talk to Batman and make him step in line.
The President spoke about the threat to have the US Military wiped out of the Corto Maltese. He said it sounded like the bluster of bullies and that America doesn't back down to bullies. He was then asked about Batman breaching the "arrangement" that superheroes would no longer operate. The President dismissed it as a matter for the State.
President Reagan announced that the US were now in conflict with the Soviets in the Corto Maltese but he reassured people that they would "protect their interest" quickly correcting himself to say protect the freedom of the people of the Corto Maltese.
Reagan announced from an undisclosed location that the fight in the Corto Maltese had ended but the Russians had launched a nuclear missile in retaliation.
After the initial fallout had died down and the power had started to return, Reagan instructed Clark Kent to deal with Batman.
