Retiring from her life as Catwoman, Selina Kyle recessed into a shadow of her former self, as she became an obese front runner of an escort service
Selina was watching the news about the Joker and Batman's returns and poured herself a drink. She was interrupted by the Joker and dropped her drink. He applied some lipstick and kissed her, putting her under his influence and he told her he had a job for one of her girls to do.
Selina was later hogtied, gagged and left by the Joker, dressed as Wonder Woman, in her bedroom. She was found by Batman, who was on the track for Joker, and freed her. She warned Batman that the Joker was worse than ever, but Batman comforts her by kissing her, before the police interrupted them and Batman and Robin escaped.
Later, Selina attended Bruce Wayne's funeral, where she confronted Superman. She lambastes Clark on his role in Bruce's supposed death, but Gordon stops her, pulling her away as she leaves, sorrowfully despondent.
