Tatsu Yamashiro is an expert martial artist who goes by the name, Katana. She is the bodyguard of Rick Flag who helps him lead Amanda Waller's expendable squad. Katana wields a katana (hence her name) that contains the souls of its victims.

Katana arrives outside of Midway City where she's the last member of Task Force X to arrive and get aboard the helicopter transporting the squad mere seconds before taking off.
