Cyborg intervened when Batman threw Yo-Yo off of a rooftop to fall to her death. Cyborg caught her and she surrendered to him. Cyborg then tried to convince Batman to join his cause and stop the war between Themyscira and Atlantis.
After failing to secure Batman's help, the President dismissed Cyborg, thanking him for his efforts but stating that they'd take it from there. Later, Batman contacted Cyborg and agreed to help him if Cyborg helped him and the Flash locate Superman. Cyborg was unsure at first but went along and helped locate and free Superman from captivity.
As the group reached freedom, the government order that they stand down and return Superman into their custody. Superman defeated them, charged by the yellow sun but flew away, horrified at what he had done. The Flash collapsed, having a seizure as his memories aligned with the new reality. Cyborg and Batman took him to the Shazam family's house to recover.
Cyborg joined the other heroes in New Themyscira to stop the war between the Amazons and the Atlanteans. They fought hard but Aquaman was stronger than Cyborg, destroying his canon arm and ripping off his chest plate. Before Aquaman could kill Cyborg, his arm was amputated with heat vision by Superman.
